How And Creativ Helped LCCP (Laura’s Community Cat Project) Rescue More Pets and Boost Donations

Introduction

LCCP (Laura’s Community Cat Project) is a non-profit in Houston, TX, focused on rescuing and neutering cats and dogs to promote adoption. Faced with limited outreach and community engagement, LCCP partnered with And Creativ to create an impactful newsletter campaign that would grow awareness and increase donations. In just six months, And Creativ’s strategic campaign expanded LCCP’s subscriber base from 54 to 6,500 and increased monthly donations by 640%.

Challenge

LCCP struggled to effectively communicate its mission to the local community, with only 54 subscribers on their newsletter list. They needed a solution to increase visibility for their neutering and adoption programs, boost donor engagement, and grow their overall impact in Houston.

Strategy & Execution

  • Campaign Strategy: And Creativ crafted a newsletter strategy designed to inform, engage, and inspire action. We segmented the audience to tailor messages for potential adopters, volunteers, and donors. The newsletters featured animal rescue stories, updates on neutering initiatives, and the positive outcomes from community donations.

  • Content Development: We focused on creating compelling content that emotionally resonated with readers. Each email showcased animals needing adoption, highlighted successful rescue stories, and provided clear calls-to-action, such as ways to donate or participate in local events. The consistent message: each contribution could make a tangible difference in saving animals.

  • Subscriber Growth Tactics: And Creativ implemented multiple tactics to grow the subscriber list, including social media campaigns, prominent website sign-up forms, and partnerships with local businesses and animal shelters. These efforts expanded LCCP’s reach and attracted more engaged subscribers.

Results

  • Subscriber Growth: Over six months, LCCP’s newsletter subscribers grew from 54 to 6,500, giving the organization a much broader platform to share their mission and engage the community.

  • Increased Donations: The monthly donation amounts rose by 640%, enabling LCCP to significantly expand their neutering services and rescue efforts, ultimately saving more animals and increasing adoption rates.

Conclusion

And Creativ’s newsletter campaign was pivotal in transforming LCCP’s outreach efforts. Through strategic email marketing, LCCP was able to grow its community of supporters and dramatically increase donations, enhancing their ability to rescue, neuter, and find homes for more cats and dogs in Houston.

This case illustrates how targeted digital content and marketing strategies can help non-profits expand their impact and reach critical fundraising goals.
